Cross the causeway into Antelope Island's bison country.
Follow the island road through open bison habitat, stop at shoreline and mountain overlooks, add a trail suited to the weather, and continue to Fielding Garr Ranch for the island's human history.
4:30–6:00 PM return
Afternoon
Return downtown with time for a shower and an unhurried dinner.
The causeway and island road make the return longer than the map first suggests. Keep dinner downtown rather than adding another cross-valley drive.

Reserve dinner at Matteo Ristorante Italiano.

Sunday
Sunday morning: Temple Square and Capitol Hill.
Keep the final hours on the downtown side of the valley so airport rail, rental-car return, and event traffic do not turn checkout into a race.

Sunday morning
Walk Temple Square and climb Capitol Hill.
Walk the currently open Temple Square grounds, follow South Temple east, and climb to the Utah State Capitol for a final view across the valley before checking out.
11:00 AM
One last stop
Finish downtown before the airport transfer.
Use Utah Transit Authority (UTA) TRAX light rail when the flight schedule fits; otherwise allow time for a direct transfer, rental return, and terminal walk.
